Apple’s annual Back to School promotion is now live in the United States, offering a $150 gift card with eligible Mac or iPad purchases.
Apple has launched its 2026 Back to School promotion in the United States, rewarding students and educators with a $150 Apple Gift Card when they purchase an eligible Mac or iPad.
Eligibility and Eligible Devices
The offer applies to new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad Air, iPad Pro, and iPad mini models purchased between July 16 and September 30, 2026. Devices must be bought directly from Apple’s online store, Apple Retail locations, or authorized resellers that honor the promotion.
To qualify, buyers must provide proof of enrollment at a qualified K‑12 school, college, or university, or be a faculty or staff member. The gift card is issued electronically within 48 hours of purchase and can be used for any Apple Store purchase, including accessories and services.
How to Redeem the Gift Card
After completing the purchase, customers receive an email with a unique redemption code. The code can be entered at checkout on Apple.com or in the Apple Store app. The gift card cannot be combined with other promotional discounts, and it expires 12 months after issuance.
Comparison with Previous Years
This year’s $150 credit matches the value offered in 2025, but Apple has expanded the eligible product lineup to include the latest M3‑chip iPad Pro and the refreshed 15‑inch MacBook Pro, giving students more flexibility in choosing a device that fits their academic needs.
